Welcome to the MOMS Club® of Spotsylvania-Central, Virginia!

A Chapter of the International MOMS Club

The MOMS Club is the only non-profit organization designed specifically for all at-home mothers.  We believe that staying home to raise our children is a fulfilling full-time job.  In fact, we think it is one of the most important jobs any family can choose!

The MOMS Club was started in 1983 by an at-home California mother, who decided she was tired of being home alone with her children.   She reached out to other area at-home families and the MOMS Club was born!  Currently, the International MOMS Club has thousands of chapters within the United States and several budding international chapters as well!

The Spotsylvania-Central, Virginia Chapter
The Spotsy MOMS Club is a growing group of at-home moms within Spotsylvania County, Virginia (see the About Us section for specific boundary information).  Many of our members also have home-based businesses and/or work part-time.  We hold weekly children's playgroups and a variety of other events, designed to get moms and kids involved in the community.  We also have special "Mom's Nights Out," a nighttime event that moms can come to with or without their kids!

In accordance with the International MOMS Club's principles, we believe...
  • That being an at-home mother shouldn't isolate you.
  • That a family's decision for a mother to stay at home to raise the children often involves considerable financial sacrifice.
  • That there is no one right way to raise children, but our members have a common concern in raising their children in a healthful way.

Our goals include...

  • To provide a support group for mothers who choose to stay at home to raise their children.
  • To provide a forum for topics of interest and/or concern to mothers.
  • To give back to mothers and children within our community.
