February 2012

7 - Monthly Membership Meeting @ Salem Church Library, 10:00 am

Our monthly membership meeting is a chance for new members to come and check out what our club has to offer.  We also have a special guest at each meeting.  As February is Dental Health Awareness Month, our guest speaker from Hilltop Dental will talk to the club about pediatric dental care.

9 - Meet Me @ Chick-fil-A, 12:30pm

Meet up with other MOMS Club members for reasonably healthy fast-food lunch at our local Chick-fil-A.  Enjoy some grown up conversation while the kids play on the indoor playground.

13 - Valentine’s Day Brunch, 10:00am

Conversation and playtime with friends of all ages as we gather with friends, laughter, and most importantly, FOOD!  Bring your favorite yummy brunch item to share and, if you’d like, Valentine’s Day cards for the kids to exchange.

16 - Craft Day, 10:00am

Age appropriate crafting going on while we supervise and help - and catch up with one another, too.  This month we will be collecting toothbrushes and toothpaste for the Thurman Brisben Center and/or Hope House as our monthly service project, so if possible, please bring some dental care items with you to craft day to donate!

20 - Mom’s Night Out, 7:00pm ($-$$)

Every MOM needs some time to herself, so leave the kids with the hubby (or a sitter) and join us at 7:00pm for yummy food and grown-up conversation!  This month Mom’s night out is also a service opportunity!  Qdoba is hosting a fundraiser for Fairy Godmother Project, a local organization that provides assistance with everyday tasks for families facing pediatric cancer, and a portion of the proceeds for the evening will be donated to this awesome organization.  Additional information about the Fairy Godmother Project can be found on their website fairygodmotherproject.blogspot.com.

22 - Mom’s Morning Out, 9:00am-12:00pm

A morning out all by yourself!?!  That’s right!  Take advantage of the chance to drop your kiddos off from 9:00am to 12:00pm and head out to accomplish some errands or, take the time to treat yourself to a latte, a pedicure, or even a chance to sit by yourself and have a complete thought!
