Membership Meetings
All Spotsy MOMS Club members are encouraged to come to the monthly Membership Meetings. Membership Meetings are also a great place to go for your first event to meet the other moms and their children! We meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am at a local library. Please contact us for more specific location information.
It's important for members to attend these meetings regularly in order to maintain an active part in their membership! Membership Meetings are a venue for giving your ideas about activities and getting to know your fellow moms better!
Community Service
We at the Spotsy MOMS Club take pleasure in giving back to the community. At this year's Annual Open House, representatives from the Spotsy Fire Department came to talk to area moms and their children about fire safety and the use of 911. The event was open to the public and children toured a fire truck!
Last year, we made blankets in support of needy area children, through our local
Project Linus. Moms of varying sewing abilities enjoyed getting together to make no-sew fleece blankets for children who need a little bit more security in their lives.
This year we helped sponsor a Thanksgiving Dinner at the Bragg Hill Family Life Center on November 10. We also decorated special Halloween treat bags for local homeless children and held a yard sale to benefit the MOMS Club Mother-to-Mother Fund.
These are just some ways the Spotsy MOMS Club is supporting mothers and children of our community and nationally!
